GALYIC Members Forum

The aim of the Forum is to provide a private and safe space (unlike facebook which can make you vulnerable) where members of GALYIC can debate, hold discussions and pass on messages.

To ensure the space is safe, the forum will be moderated. Any messages which contravene the agreed rules will be deleted and anyone who consistently breaks the rules will have their membership withdrawn.

Here are some thoughts about rules, what do you think? What do you think should be added?

Membership: The same rules for accessing GALYIC youth group and drop-in will apply, i.e. aged between 13 and 21 years, lives, works or is educated in Calderdale, and identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or is questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity. All members will be encouraged to join: those who attend the drop-in/youth group regularly plus those who may not get to the group but who are still in contact with us.

Language: please refrain from using bad language.

Respect: please respect all members: do not put anyone down.

And remember: this is not a 'dating' site.

Let's discuss issues in a sensible and constructive way - we want a 'win-win' situation when there are disputes, so that everyone is ok with the result - this might take some compromising, but life is often about compromising.
